Description
|
The Project
Titled “The National Biomass Resource Assessment Program” which involves Data
Base administration on SQL2000, MS ACCESS, where in the resource mapping of
biomass power of the country is being done. The task includes integration of
all the data’s which are received from RRSSC ( Data with in the vector maps)
are being extracted and stored with in the Data Base, which would be queried
by using SQL 2000.

This webpage is used to identify the crop in particular place on the map and
get the power estimation dynamically.

Description

This Project
is the continuation of the above Project which has been updated with
Client-Server module, By using Data
Compression Technique is being used in compression of data sets of
similar Polygon and of similar crops, which in turn reduces the accessing
time at the client end. SQL 2000 and MS Access are used as data bases with Geoconcept
Information server (GCIS) on configuration with IIS. This webpage is used to
display the crop maps.
