SUMMARY:
I am a Mechanical Engineer with a master’s
degree in Industrial Engineering with almost eight years experience. I have
worked as “Reliability Based Maintenance Consultancy Engineer” (Condition
Monitoring – Vibration Analysis) for almost two years. During this period, I
was involved in Machinery Fault Diagnosis and Vibration Analysis of all the
rotating equipments of a large Petro- Chemical Complex.
There after I am working as a Lecturer in

To provide consultancy in vibration monitoring
& machinery fault diagnostics of all the rotating plant machinery (more
than 800) which includes pumps, fans, compressors, D.G.sets, blowers, turbines,
aerators, motors etc.

To advice necessary rectification in case of
high vibration.

In service health monitoring of more than six
hundred rotating equipment’s.
¨
To maintain and update equipment health record
and trending of vibration level of each measurement point of the equipments for
the last one year.

To carry out machinery fault diagnostics of
rotating equipments by using most advance vibration analyzers from M/s
Computational Systems Inc. USA .

In addition to the above I was involved in
marketing of reliability based maintenance products to the various process
plants.

RESEARCH:

Worked on
M. Tech. thesis in the area of "Energy Conservation & Energy
Efficiency Improvement Studies in Coal Fired High Pressure Boiler of a Paper
Mill". Work includes efficiency test of boiler,
estimation of various heat losses, analysis of heat losses, suggestions and
recommendation to minimize the heat losses, follow up for implementation of
recommendations and after implementation again conducting the efficiency test
of boiler to find out the improvement in boiler efficiency.
