Symbol Technologies have come up with an
innovative switch for Centralized Wireless Infrastructure Deployment meant for
large enterprises. I was involved in system and functional testing of wireless
switches. My responsibility was system testing and functional validation of the
wireless switches.
Title: Inventory Management Tool.
Platform: Windows.
Team Size: 2.
Overview: The tool was made to simplify the process of keeping
track of the equipments received and which are with the testers. Involved in
design and development of the project.
Front-end was HTML Pages, and database used was MySQL. Used java scripts
for querying the database and to display it to the Front –end HTML Pages.
Projects at Cranes Varsity
Title: Implementation of
Simple Mail Transfer Protocol.
Platform: UNIX.
Team Size: 2.
Overview:
The project
involves designing of socket to communicate between two processes on machines
connected to different networks. We designed the SMTP with minor modifications.
The coding includes creation of sockets, User authentication, and User
addition. Port numbers were used to identify the end points and since a
connection-oriented type of setup was designed, TCP/IP was used
Title: Adaptive Headlamp System.
Platform: Windows
Team Size: 3.
Overview: The objective of the project
was to rotating the direction of the headlamps in accordance with the rotation
of the steering wheel. The actual steering wheel emulation was done with the
help of a potentiometer. The analog voltage is converted is converted to
digital values through ADC and these values are used as inputs to the AT89C51
controller which in turn will control the angle of rotation of the stepper
motor, thus rotating the headlamp.

working days, and basic pay were all maintained with all the access to the data

Implementation of Dictionary using Binary Trees

Overview:
The
Objective of the project was to create a dictionary with the help of binary
trees. Binary uses the concept of self referential structures with the data
arranged in the form of a tree with one parent node. The traversing time is
reduced considerably as the data are stored in ascending order.

RS232C based programming of VSMPS

Avionics Technologies Private Ltd, Bangalore.

Overview: This is a part of our course
curriculum for 8th semester B.E under V.T.U. The project was done in Vankesh
Avionics Technologies Private Ltd. The project was to build TVC (Thermo Vacuum
Chamber) board, which would then be used to control the voltage of VSMPS
(Voltage Switched Mode Power Supply). The project had front-end software VC++.
The other software used was AVR Studio4, which is an assembly program tool for
programming of AT mega32 micro controller and Orcad Software for designing
& testing the board.
Title: Implementation of
MATH CO PROCESSOR using VHDL.

Semester: 6th Semester.

Overview: This is a part of our course
curriculum for 6th semester B.E under V.T.U. Math co-processor is also a
processor, which works in conjunction with the main processor. It performs the
additional functions like finding the square root of a number and many more functions.
We implemented basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction,
multiplication and division. We used VHDL, which is Hardware Description
Language to code, and used tool VHDL Simili 1.5. We successfully completed the
project.
