WSCP is a high quality 2,959-car park space located in the Qatar Education
City. It provides linkage to the People Mover System (PMS) station for onward
travel to final destinations in Education City. The superstructure car park is
four (4) storeys high with an approximate footprint of 45.000 sq.m. The
substructure levels consist of a basement level concourse, PMS stations, and
bus concourse. The external cladding of the building is created by matrixaluminium
sections arranged in three different planes. Staircases, escalators, and lifts

Description :

The
Project comprises the construction of 11 km of roads and related
infrastructure, including excavation, construction of a large retention pond,
micro tunnelling works for storm water pipes, earthworks and grading, street
lighting, treated sewage effluent pipe network, storm water drainage network,
potable water supply network, irrigation, firefighting and cabling.
Responsibilities:
·
Accountable for executing &
monitoring the activities as perthe approved drawings, BBS, specifications,
Quality standard’s (ISO 9001:2008) given schedule with safety &
environmental aspects (as per OSHAS 18001:2007)
·
Intending material requirements,
concrete orders, manpower requirements for executing activities and reporting
to Construction Manager and Inter-Departmental negotiations for any issues in
drawing, site related issues, etc.
·
Reviewing the method statements,
material submittals/transmittals and material delivered to the site (MDS),
prior to commence/begin the works in site
·
Liaised with Clients, Architects,
Consultants, Contractors, Sub-Contractors, for determining technical specifications,
approvals and obtaining statutory clearances etc.,
·
Reviewing and preparing of approvedshop
drawingsfor theSite Foremen’s/Sub Contractors, prior to execute to the site as
well overseeing the work activities in regular interval.
·
Intending material quantity take
off,ordering materialsfor the site as per approved documents by referring the project
specifications
·
Checking the red line drawingsprior
to getting the approval from the client.
·
Co-ordinate to the QA/QC department
for the approval and the testing requirements
·
Monitor all
works progress on the site and immediately comply/follow the suitable
rectifications as per the construction specifications/standards
·
Plan and cause to be executed the
amount of testing to be done as work progresses and see to it that the
individual in charge is always present and witnessing the performance of the
test in the field.
·
Carried out the inspections at
site, as per construction specification, progresses for information and
implementation of any recommendation
·
Framing routine, maintain the
schedules, check lists, updating and checking the time sheets, daily reports,
labour cost codes & manpower organisations
·
Creating and
submitting Request for Inspection and Testing (RFIT) and collaborating fully
with consultants, completing such Inspections as per Approved Specifications
and Materials
