TITLE: 12Mbps and 18 Mbps PHY Layer,Transmitter module implementation of WLAN

Abstract                                 :

                    The 802.11a standard specifies the PHY entity for OFDM system.The radio frequency LAN is aimed for 5GHz.The system uses 52 subcarriers that are modulated using QPSK.Forward error correction coding (convolution coding) is used with a coding rate of ½ for 12Mbps and ¼ for 18Mbps.The coding is written in C and Code composer studio is used to convert the C program into assembly languague to process it through a 6711 dsp processor and the output OFDM symbols are seen through the CRO.
