Project : Inventory
control system
The project involves computerisation of the warehouse where goods are
stored with all movements of in and out of the warehouse with appropritate
documents. The orders can be placed by the purchase department by sending the
purchase Order to the warewhouse so that consent member can make it finalise
based on the requirements sent by the purchase deparment along with item order,
number of units and their prices. The goods sent by the supplier first go to
the receive department where physical count of goods and check quality of the
order is done. A query on goods that are to be returned is sent by the purchase
department to the warehouse along with item order, number of units and
price. Requisition for issuse goods is
sent by the issues deparment. The issuse deparment takes in to account the
stock validity and makes a query to the warehouse indicating to dispatch the
goods to the super market.
