Audio/Video Specialist-Project Manager for Office Communications Server roll-out

Provide video conference support for 17 Polycom video endpoints at various hospitals and clinic’s.  This includes video bridge maintenance on the MGC+50 as well as remote management and training for the administrators assigned to the locations.  Project Management roles:  Provide PM for the roll out of Office Communications Server 2007 on the Centura AD backbone.  This includes testing environments, migration from LCS 2005 as well as end-user pilots and training.  Work directly with the storage, server, network and desktop team in getting all pieces of the project completed in a timely manor.  Provide PM in getting VSL (Video Sign Language) interpretation services going in 5 major hospitals.  This included contacting several vendors, testing on the Centura network, live demonstrations for the Centura IT leadership team and VP’s from Children’s Hospital to contract agreements and documentation and training for end-users.  Created roll out plan to migrate from the Polycom MGC to Tandberg TMS system including expressway and desktop video cutover.

Audio/Video Specialist-TECH Desk support

Provide Audio/Video support for the EPA conference center.  Conference set-up and tear-down with multiple vendors such as Web-ex, On24, Live-Meeting and internal Lotus Same-time applications. Extensive work with Epson and Boxlite projectors, Dell laptops, JVC speakers, Sure microphones, sound systems, LAN connections, Avaya VOIP applications, Video conferencing over ISDN and IP using gateways and Crestron Room Management Systems. Customer service and support for internal and external customers of the E.P.A.  Video codec’s include Tandberg 6000, 1000, 4000, Tandberg Management System.  Work with infrastructure in getting the E.P.A.'s new conference center running with SOPs and best practices. Technical desk computer phone support for 900+ employees.  Applications include Lotus Notes, Novell, Spyder, Active Directory, Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, Publisher) and other internal federal applications.  On site desktop support, (Re-imaging hard drives, troubleshooting hardware, replacing internal CPU components). Track service tickets and trends through Virtual Help Desk (VHD).

Custom designed and installed V-TEL video conference systems including custom rooms and millwork, punch-down blocks, smart jacks and inside wiring. Rebuilt window based CPU’s including memory and hard drive upgrades. Resolution of trouble tickets from on site clients for all Midwest states (CO, KS, NE, MO, WY, UT, NM and AZ).  Provided technical support and training for V-TEL, Polycom, and Picturetel video conference systems .   Created process flows and procedure lists for video systems and bridging services.
