Election Systems IT Specialist for a County Election Board. This was a contract position specifically to support the 2006 elections. Achievements: built a detailed asset tracking system for all equipment and materials at each designated polling location, developed and documented best practices for storing, deploying, and tracking voting machines and related equipment, supervised a team of support technicians provided by the equipment vendor for election day.

Regional (five Counties) Liaison Manager during the deployment, training, and initial uses of electronic voting machines in Maryland. As the project developed, the State pushed for significant changes in the requirements for this position; I left because I was no longer well-suited to what it had become. Achievements: designed and conducted training classes and exercises (including mock elections) for Elections Officials.
