Independent
Consulting Experience

In addition to the
employment history and experience referenced above, there is additional
overlapping experience performed as an independent business technology
consultant; this experience is outlined here.
1998- 2002 Advanced Data Concepts, Inc.
Built
custom-computer workstation and server systems per specification. Performed on-site computer and server
repair services for businesses in the Southwest Florida market.
2001-2004 &
2010 InterFusion International, Inc.
Departing
from primarily hardware focused solutions in the previous venture – the
focus shifted to business software solutions centered on Windows 2000
Server and later Windows Server 2003.
Consulted with businesses throughout Florida and Latin America in
deployments of first servers, SBS 2000/2003, Exchange 2000/2003 and
SharePoint which became our niche offering at the release of Office
2003. Began offering hosted
internet-facing SharePoint sites on a monthly subscription basis to
businesses seeking a virtual office on the web – with a scalability plan to
include the future installation of a dedicated SharePoint Web Server on
premises. Was elected by Microsoft’s
TS2/Technet Sales Seminar Team to present case-study examples around the
Southeastern United States - showcasing InfoPath and SharePoint as
extremely viable avenues of revenue and powerful collaboration
platforms. In 2010, the name and
brand were recaptured and incorporated in Wisconsin for freelance
consulting purposes.
2005-2008 J.F. Parrish & Associates, Inc.
Provided
specialized business development consulting, including but not limited to
software and hardware IT solutions.
Performed service on business systems including,
videoconferencing, telecom devices and computer networks. The idea in this business model was to
provide business executives with the tools necessary to analyze their
business processes. Offerings
included implementation of SharePoint 3.0 Services / MOSS 2007 and
Microsoft CRM to help centralize company data and develop workflow
through XML forms developed in InfoPath.
Information would be captured through worker input and assignments
and the data would be compiled in Excel Pivot Charts which comprised a
custom dashboard for business analysis.
Specialized in migrating users away from custom Excel/Access
databases, ACT! and Goldmine databases – into a SQL based SharePoint/InfoPath/CRM
customized solution package.
