Testing: Responsible for writing Automated Unit
Tests, and fixing bugs found within testing.
Also responsible for documenting Use Cases, as well as Help Desk Support
for Customers. As far as Automated
testing goes I currently write both Unit and System tests, then fix any and all
failures for the associated tests.
Scrum Master: Following
Agile Project Management Methods, as well as the SCRUM Methodology to ensure
all assigned work is completed in a timely manner, as well as facilitating
other engineering meetings and ensuring everything is completed in a timely
manner.
Software Development: Using N-Tier , as

Database: Created
a Bug Tracking Database with C# for the GUI, Controller, and Model with
Connection Strings for the Authentication and search querries, and the primary
IDE used was Microsoft Visual Studio.net 2008.

Software Engineer
Database Administration: Responsible for setup and maintenance of PC's
with Raid Array's running Windows Server 2003, which served as a web host on an
intranet using IIS 4.0, and also as a database server using SQL Server 2005, or
SQL Server 2008, as well as MSSQL and MYSQL.
These web and database servers were run on an intranet for customers to
view databases; utilizing asp.net web pages to view databases and reports. Also, was responsible for the maintenance and
security of these databases.
Software Development: Responsible for
programming/development, testing and deployment of database's, as well as Data
Synchronization, for view and/or editing via Windows Forms or asp.net web pages
using either Microsoft Visual Studio .net 2008 Visual Basic.net or C#, LINQ,
and either Microsoft Report Viewer or Crystal Reports for Logistics Inventory
database's, Cost performance database's, and technical writing database's. These database's were used on a daily basis
by anywhere from 2 people to 250 people.
Development was done for clients using Windows XP, and Windows
Vista. Also created a CVS repository for
Code checkout/check in on a Linux PC.
- As an
example, I was able to successfully design, develop, test, and deploy in
less than eight weeks a Vehicle Maintenance Logistics database; which was
available for editing on Windows XP, and Vista. Additionally, it was utilized for the
generation of reports using Crystal Reports. Within that same eight weeks, I was able
to successfully deploy, on a Windows Server 2003 PC, an IIS 5.0 Web Server
to host a Microsoft ASP.net web page that I designed, developed, tested,
and deployed. The application was
viewed and used by over 200 people on a daily basis at our customers
office which was the Defense Threat Reduction Agency; our end customer.
- Also
spent the majority of my time Converting Visual Basic 6.0 and Visual
Basic.net projects to C#.

Flight Simulator Programming: Responsible for upgrading and/or fixing
flight simulators software using Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VI editor, and gnu
or green hills compilers, in either C/C++, C#, Ada, and FORTRAN, in order to
meet Air Force requirements for student training on Flight Simulators. All programming was completed on either a
UNIX platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and on Windows XP using UNIX GUI's.
Database Programming: Created SQL Server
2003 databases using Microsoft Visual Studio .net 2003 and utilizing either
Visual Basic or C# for tracking modifications to flight simulators; as well as
for storage of XML documents on databases for up to 60 different users in two
different locations, (New Mexico and Florida), using a VPN. All database development was completed on
Windows XP platforms, both on the client and server side utilizing Windows
Server 2003 with an IIS Web server, and SQL Server 2003.
GUI Programming: Created a Instructor Operation Station GUI
that would communicate with a Controller for the GUI using C# and Microsoft
Visual Studio .net. Using a N-Tier
design the GUI would communicate with the Controller and the Controller would
communicate to the Business Layer, which in turn communicates to the Data
Access Layer.
