Project : Telecom Data Base Management.
Description : Data base administration of various data, which supports the activities  of ‘Reliance Infocomm’ in maintaining the billing information, activation and account information of MDNs, circle wise customers’ data etc.,
 Responsibilities :

  • Installation and configuration of oracle 9i.
·         Managing contolfiles, datafiles and Redo log files.
·         Creating objects like tables, views, synonyms and indexes.
·         Creating database manually and operating the database in Archive log mode.
  • Created additional tablespaces redo log groups for production support.
·         Analyzing the tables and indexes.
  • Impletemented Logical backups (export) and given entries in Crontab.
  • Routine Maintenance, Performance monitoring and tuning the database.
  • Checking chained rows and removing if heavy row chaining found
·         Routine checks of log and trace files to trace problems requiring action.
·          Database Re-organization (Database, Tablespace, Tables etc.): Re-Org is done from time to time        for the primary storage objects like tables, indexes.
  • Monitoring the database growth and increasing tablespace size in production databases.
  • Backup and recovery strategies using RMAN.
·         Checking alert logs and user trace files to solve the errors.
·        Capacity planned in sizing Tablespace, Extents, SGA and PGA.

It’s an effective administrative tool for management staff also involves special billing system of the organization.

Role                 : Database Design and Write PL/SQL Coding

Tools Used       : Oracle 8i

Description : It basically stores the information about staff, whose attendance details are   recorded with in-time and out-time information. Current date and time will be stored automatically after capturing the attendance of the staff in the system. We can view the date wise information of the staff and printout option is also available. System doesn’t allow the duplication of the attendance.

Project Name : ‘HOSPITAL MANAGMENT ‘
Client               : LIFE HOSPITALS.

Duration           : 3 Months
Role                 : Database Design and PL/SQL Coding, Report building.

Tools Used       : Oracle 8i

Description     : Database maintained for supporting the functions of the hospital.
It is basically used by the hospital staff to find out the patient details like the patient’s information, consulting doctor and billing details also the treatment process.
