Master of Science Final Year Main Project
Title: MATLAB Study and DSP Implementation of LORAN Removal
Techniques.
Language: C, MATLAB (7.1)
Issues that have been a big disturbance for many
years are the interference of LORAN-C navigations pulses. The major parts of
Britain that suffer from this interference are Upper Wharfedale, Yorkshire
and Dow/Prov from Dow Cave to Providence Prov.. In my project, different
methods of LORAN removal techniques methods are implemented. The methods take
an example of speech recording where we first add our own simulated LORAN
pulse. This is done as to study the characteristics of the LORAN pulse as how
as how it behaves when it is mixed with speech signals. An actual LORAN
signal recording is then taken to be mixed with a speech signal as to perform
various tests. The results obtained from each of the tests helps in the study
to alter the techniques being implemented. This is achieved by improving the
code which was first designed in MATLAB to analyze the test results and later
on in C as to be tested on an ADSP - 2181 processor which would be connected
to the Heyphone transceiver.
Bachelor of Engg. (Final Year Project)
Title: DTMF Remote Control System.
My final semester in Government Engineering College Jabalpur was on a
DTMF remote control System, This project consisted of two major sections
1. RF Link Section 2. Telephone
Section
The system designed was to provide the user with the befits of
controlling his home devices using a normal telephone, mobile this was
achieved through the use of DTMF tones that’s are generated within the
telephone systems.
Others Project worked on
during my masters course in UK:
Title: Data Compressions
I have worked on forms of data compression such as that for text
compression LZ77, LZ78, LZW which is used mainly for creating PDF files. I
have also worked on wavelet compression which the key area for JPEG2000.
