Description
Alpha savings Bank (ASB) is converting its current
office system to a client / server architecture from a host based architecture.
The
first project to be converted is the Alpha Account Management System (AMS). AMS
was selected due to its current stability and its need to be modified to meet
future Alpha Savings Bank expansion. AMS provides Alpha Savings Bank with a
single application interface to create and maintain various accounts and
accounts types, including:

Accounts (Savings and checking)
In addition to managing account information, the
system permits mortgages pre qualification, loan confirmation letters, and loan
payment graphs. AMS also includes the necessary reporting and administrative
functions to meet current reporting and security needs.
