Clients Profile:  Gas Authority of India Ltd, a leading Public Sector Enterprise, is the largest gas processing, transmission and marketing company in India. The activities of company range from the Gas marketing and distribution through trunk and regional pipelines system, Gas processing for production and marketing of LPG, liquid hydrocarbons and polymer resin.

Roles and Responsibilities:

ALE / IDOC Programming

Involved in creating Distribution Model, Message type and generated Partner Profile

·        Configured ALE for distributed SAP-systems.

·        Configuration of IDOC’s for automatic transfer.

·        Processing and Monitoring IDOC’s for error‘s and inconsistencies.

·        Successfully distributed master data between two physically separate SAP systems. This was achieved using ALE mechanisms for Message.

   

Reports

• Created a classical report to display the list of purchase order creation date, items and vendor price on Selection of Purchase order creation date, document type and account group.
• Created an interactive report to display purchase requisition of the purchase requisition number on selection of   purchase requisition number and Material type.                                 

·        Interactive report listing Stock position for a chosen material for chosen storage    

            Location in a given plant.

·        Developed an interactive report to list the purchase orders details for a vendor that              

       Has interactive drill down options to give the detail of vendor from vendor master

·        Wrote report in material master that outputs material valuated stock grouped by material    

      type and plant. The output shows Material no, storage location, and unit of measure and

      description in addition to group totals. Data was extracted from MARA, MARC, MARD,

      MAKT, EKKO, and  EKPO.

BDC Interfacing

·        Created BDC program for transferring the Purchase Requisition  MK01.

·        Created BDC Program for transferring the Material Master MM01

Duration                         : May ‘04 to February ‘05.

Client’s Profile:          The company, named Marafiq, was founded by the Royal Commission, the Public Investments Fund, Saudi ARAMCO, and SABIC, with local investors also holding a stake. UCO may be privatized when it becomes profitable. In the meantime, UCO has begun several water and power projects in Yanbu and Jubail. In July 2004, Marafiq issued a request for proposals (RFP) for a $2.5 billion, 2,400-MW, 79-mmg/d (of water), gas-fired IWPP in Jubail.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Involved in design and development of BDC’s and Report programs.

Reports:

·        Developed the interactive report that displays the sales order information, like sales order

            Number, order reason, sold to party & delivery status, the detailed list gives item data and     

            Item delivery status.

·        Created commission report for the sales department sorted by sales representative. The data is extracted from VBAK, VBAP, KONV, and MARA tables.

• Created report for sales order report, which covers all organization levels, delivery status, invoice status, shipping details and partner function details. The data was extracted from VBAP, VBPA, VBAK, VBUP, VBFA, KNA1, LIPS, VBRP, MARA, VBEP & KONV tables.

       Batch Data Communication’s:

·        Designed and coded a BDC program to migrate Material Master data from legacy system to SAP R/3 database.

·        Designed and Coded a BDC program for Vendor Master, it will update records in Customer Master or creates new Vendor depending on the source data file.

LSMW:

• Migrated Customer Master Data from legacy system to SAP R/3 database using LSMW.
