PROJECT
DESCRIPTION: This project ensures error free, reliable
& secure data transmission in wireless communication. During the course of
project, we have tried to validate the extent of use of REED SOLOMON code,
which are symbol error correction code. We have suggested usage of PSEUDO NOISE
for hiding the information being transmitted as noise, so as to prevent any
unauthorized access. For the efficient uses of precious bandwidth, we have used
a Multi Carrier Modulation Technique called OFDM (ORTHOGONAL FREQUENCY DIVISION
MULTIPLEXING). We have used various phase shift keying schemes (BPSK, QPSK
& 16PSK) for modulation of each carrier of signal in OFDM channel. By
introducing the concert of Guard Intervals as cyclic extension of transmitted
codes, we have studied it’s effect in reducing the bit error rates. We have
designed the fourth order Chebshev low pass filter (Type –I) for reception of
signals at receiver. It provides negligible attenuation for low frequency
signals and is efficient in chopping off high frequency components.
