Description      :          

GWAY IMPEX is a division of GWAY Technologies. The main objective is to implement Sales Force Automation for the sales persons to carry out effective sales processes.  The Application will help sales persons in tracking opportunity till the closure stage, effective use of forecasting by account managers and Business managers.
We have already implemented Siebel SFA for GWAY IMPEX and the current project is a rebuild for the same with new enhancement requests incorporated and developed in Siebel 7.0.3
In this project we have analyzed the business requirements of GWAY IMPEX with respect to the existing system, designed the new system, tested and implementing at the client site.
A team of four members is involved in development of this system from Offshore and 2 people from onsite to coordinate with the user,  I am a part of the offshore team for GWAY IMPEX  Siebel 7 Implementation since  Jan 2005.
Tasks Involved :

v  Comparative study on different modules of Siebel 6 and Siebel 7.
v  Understanding the business requirements and drawing specifications  for different screens, views and applets according to particular Business Process.
v  Customizing Business Objects, Business Components, Applets, Views and Screens to match requirements using Siebel Tools.
v  Configuring and demonstrating the prototype to the client for validation purposes and to  make them understand the suitability  of  Siebel with their business scenarios.
v  Defining assignment rules and configuring Assignment Manager to ensure that  the most knowledgeable, available agents  are automatically assigned with the tasks.
v  Creating new 1 : M or M : M relationships for Business components

                              Client is a diversified, global, travel, financial and network services company. This product implementation is for a premier bank focused  on finance products partnered to develop a robust information  management system. They planned for a call center in order to generate contacts through campaigns, which can be used to serve their customers effectively and increase their revenue and market share.
     As a member of the designing, development and testing team, the responsibilities are understanding the present business system, requirement study, preparing the system specifications, and system design, testing. Analyzing and gathering the requirements pertaining to the needs of the project.

  
Tasks Involved :
v  Understanding the existing organizational structure and setup visibility across  the organization.
v  Studied the properties of the various objects and their hierarchical relationships according to user specifications
v  Developing specifications for each stage of business process to create / customize  necessary applets, views, Screens. Creating new Business Objects and Business Components, Creating necessary Static and Dynamic Pick lists.
v  Creating new applets and modified existing applets using Siebel Tools.

In addition to this, Itronix is unique as a mobile solutions provider, for its world class implementation and service, as well as its alliances with best of class strategic partners like Siebel (CRM), Microsoft (PC) and Net Motion (IP Mobility) to enable seamless deployment of best-of-class wireless solutions across the customer landscape.
       HCLT is working based on “On Demand” methodology using an Onsite-Offshore work-sharing model. Now there is requirement from Client to automate Sales and Marketing of Itronix by implementing the Siebel Sales and Marketing modules. We are part of the offshore testing team for Itronix Marketing Module.
          The Marketing Module is being designed to enable and automate the various Marketing processes at Itronix. It is intended to provide a centralized repository for timely and accurate marketing information.  In this project we have analyzed the business requirements of Itronix, identified gaps with the business process and the Siebel CRM applications, designed new system was tested and implemented successfully at the client site. All enhancement requests are also being handled on demand in order for the client satisfaction.

v  Understanding Siebel Marketing and Itronix Functionality.
v  Analyzing the Client Requests (CRs) forwarded from Onsite and working out a suitable solution for the same.

This product is also designed to provide a complete HRMS to satisfy medium to large organizations. This product is proposed to be developed in two stages. The First stage covers the processes of Manpower Budgeting, Recruitment, Induction Personnel Data Bank, Attendance, Leave Applications, Training and Payroll. The second stage covers the aspects of Income Tax, PF management, ESI, Software Interaction with financial packages like Tally for the purpose of providing a total environment for accounting, General reporting Tool etc.,
Responsibilities :                                  
v  Developed Business logic to implement the various system functionality.

2)  Sharp Industries : Online Recruitment
The project provides the entire needs of HR Department of organization. The details of the candidates are entered into the system. The system provides an auto screening where the screening is done depending on the skill set required by the job provider. The selected candidates will be called for a written test, where the question paper is generated by the system and a print of it is given to the candidate, which is manually evaluated. The marks secured are entered to a system for the selection process undergoes depending on the marks scored. The system provides a user friendly GUI and makes the selection process easier.

Techmo pumps are a manufacturer and supplier of motors and pumps with wide ranges. the system has been designed to facilitate all the activities happening. it automates the activities of their unique products, apart from the other modules like admin, sales, accounts etc.
Responsibilities :
v  Created and executed the functional test cases.
v  Tracked bugs and generated report using Excel sheet.
v  Manually tested all the modules for functionality.
v  Participated in review meetings, Logged bugs in Excel template.

4)  J L A Industries,  Coimbatore
The system is developed to maintaining employee records within the company that includes Muster Roll leave register, Monthly Pay Slip, Pay summary, which gives summary of earnings   & Deductions for individual employee as well as total employee. PF Deduction list - Employee wise PF & FPF Deduction list for month wise and cumulative statement. Payroll deduction  statement - such as LIC, LOANS, ESI  and others.  Yearly Bonus Calculated for each employee.

5) Process  scheduling of cylinders in a gas agency 
The project maintains the flow of cylinders containing Carbon dioxide with different weights through all departments in the organization. This project consist of four modules namely,  1.Introduction, 2.Customer details, 3.Production details, 4.Sales details in this project, I was involved in developing customer and production details modules. The customer details module will give information about the customer and the restricted quantity he can get. The production detail module will give a complete picture of Cylinder department, Filling department, Quality control department and cost of cylinder
