#1 : “Control card for UPS”

Overview : The micro controller
based control card is designed for the ‘Offline UPS’. The micro controller is
programmed to obey the parameters of offline UPS, such as Input low voltage/
high voltage settings, boost/ buck, inverter o/p voltage, inverter o/p overload
trip, inverter o/p short circuit trip, no load cut-off trip, battery low
warning and so on.
Project #2 : “Micro controller based Ratio meter”

Overview : The “Micro controller based Ratio meter” is a
device used to find the
ratio between the primary and the secondary
of a transformer. Here, the microcontroller
converts the analog voltage from the
transformer into a digital form. The ratio between
the primary and the secondary is calculated
.Finally the ratio is displayed on a 4*20
character LCD display.
Project #3 : “Micro controller based RS-232 to 64 kbps
converter”

Overview : The
“Micro controller based RS-232 to 64 kbps converter” is used to convert the low
speed data into a high-speed data. The data given as input to the RS-232
connector is at 9.6 kbps. Usually the input data will be analog in type. This
data is transferred to the micro controller via the level converters. These
level converters convert RS-232 to TTL and vice-versa. A part of the signal
from the level converters is transmitted to the data codec. Data codec is
designed such that it can convert a data of any speed to a high-speed data of
64 kbps. It also has an inbuilt function of converting the analog signal to
digital signal and vice versa. Since the module developed is half duplex, the
64 kbps output from the data codec is looped back into the data codec as input.
Once again the transmitted signal from the data codec undergoes similar
conversions and finally the data transfer can be observed on the computer. The
output will be an analog signal with the required file transformation. This
Data Interface (DIT) Card is developed to increase the data connectivity. It
can be used for both half duplex and full duplex communications.
