Ø  Successfully completed a project at INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION titled “THE SATELLITE NAVIGATION SYSTEM”. The project involved tracking the POSITION of any satellite in the space at any given instance of time. A certificate of excellence was awarded.

Ø  Participated in ROBO – OPUS’ 2010 conducted by ROBO SAPIENS, INDIA. A workshop conducted by the Robo Sapiens team which dealt with basics of robotics and developing a live robot. A certificate of participation was awarded.

DESCRIPTION:
The project emphasises on working of an lighting laboratory and the different functionalities that makeup an lighting effect on three object such as Torus, Icosahedron and Teapot. The interface is developed using the OpenGL library fuctions in the Visual C++ environment. The main aim of the project is to enable the user to execute graphics packages embedded in the program by simple mouse click and key press.
This project was an effort of learning the development of the applications of computer graphics on light source and its properties which is very important in user interaction with the system. The project uses raster text on the display. The user can implement the various functions using a mouse. This project demonstrates how OpenGL can be used to develop real time application programs.

DESCRIPTION:
The Satellite Navigation is a system of satellites that provide autonomous geo-spatial positioning with global coverage. It allows small electronic receivers to determine their location (longitude, latitude, and altitude) to within a few meters using time signals transmitted along a line-of-sight by radio from satellites.
This software provides a mechanism by which it’s possible to predict the exact position of the satellite in space at a given time. Also, we can predict the intersection of the sub-satellite point on earth in terms of rectangular latitudinal and longitudinal formats with the capability to predict the same in the future. This software has been coded using MATLAB.

This project has been accomplished in partial fulfillment with ISRO (Indian Space and Research Organization) / ISTRAC (ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network) for the award of Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering.

Ø  One of the Coordinator of the College Cultural Club – Global Academy of Technology.
