Project Description
Speaker Recognition system is a process of
automatically recognizing speaker on the basis of individual information
included in speech waves. This technique makes it possible to use the speakers
voice to verify their identity and control access to services such as voice
dialing, banking by telephone, tele shopping, voice mail, security control for
confidential information areas.
The project has been tested on small speech
database. There are 8 female speakers uttering a PIN number in training stage
and once again in testing session later on by checking the voice
characteristics of input utterance using an automatic speaker recognition,
which adds extra level of security.

Description:
This Hand held system is a mini computer like
system which uses ABACUS as a core processor which is engineered around Linux
operating system. This system supports USB, Ethernet, Serial, Touch panel, LCD
graphics interface, 128MB Flash, 512MB RAM and GPS interface, including
Hardware design and development.
Responsibilities:

Getting
Tiny-X, Graphics and Applications on the Terminal:
The HHT was designed with Matchbox as a Window manager and Tiny-X as the
basic X-server which will be running on the background of the Window manager
and on the top of the Matchbox(Window manager) we are running some basic
applications such as soft keyboard, calculator, address book, etc.,

in Testing of all the Peripherals connected on the board
On the terminal we will have all the
peripherals such as Serial port, Ethernet, USB, RAM, Flash and when all the
components are placed on the board we need to do initial testing by reading and
writing the data into the address which
in the System Memory map

Involved in getting Signals from GPS
We are having 2 serial ports
connected to our terminal and out of which one we are using to download the
data to the device and the other we have connected internally to the GPS
receiver module which is one of the interfaces to the terminal. Through the
serial port connected to the GPS module we are able to get the information from
the satellite sending NMEA commands to the module.

Involved in Working of U-boot
U-boot
is the universal boot loader which boots up and initializes hardware present on
the board and in that we need to add our processor related data and board
related data and once when we start the system it boots up and initializes all
the hardware devices and peripherals

Project Description
This project is for lift control based on PIC 16f877. This version implements the bin to 16 pin bcd out put communication, it solved the problem with up booking and down booking calls when the lift is at the calling floor & when COP booked it solved direction problem also. when safety cut it comes to the nearest floor in the same direction and stops.
Whenever it detects the Min. floor level when the lift is moving down, it stops the lift regardless of call booking of min. floor. this version implements the floor level sensing depends on the counter technology.
Responsibilities:

bug fixing of Duplex:
Duplex is Lift controller where two lifts
will be operated with the single controller and in this we faced problems like
call booking not proper which and minimum floor level indication and these
problems we tested and fixed the bugs

Designing of Speech database coding and documentation:
We are using TMS320C
6711 floating point processor board and where we will be storing the data in
the processor and then we will have two phases such as data identification and
data verification techniques which are the basic steps in this and then when
the voice matches with the voice which is once recorded then we can access
through the system else we cant access the system
Generally the user will spell the PIN
number infront of the system and after the verification and validation
techniques we can judge that user is a registered user or not
