QuickShare
is a Win 8 application. Using this Windows 8 application (Only for users in
Microsoft Corp Network) the user can create a share on NGFM platform and share
huge files across the remote locations. The user can upload the files to the
share and can tag the user to whom he/she wants to give access to those files.
The tagged user can upload or download files
Responsibilities:
- Laying out design plan for UI
- Developing the application UI using XAML
- Implementing push notification using WCF
callbacks for notifying the user whenever a file is uploaded/downloaded,
user has been tagged/removed for a particular share.
- Developing WCF service exposing API’s for
adding/removing user, creating/deleting shares.
- Implemented search contract which is a windows 8
feature for searching a particular share/files/users.

TFS Items is a WinRT application that allows the user to track TFS work-items
without connecting to Team Explorer in Visual Studio. User gets instant updates
when new work-items are assigned to him/her. It also provides “Go” feature
where the user can get all the information of a work-item by providing
Work-item ID. Can get the information of number of new work-items assigned
(while the user is away) without logging into the machine at the Lock Screen.
Responsibilities:

mechanism by creating a background task which pulls latest work items info for
every 15 minutes.

Radius
- Incident Management Queue Service:
Radius is a new tool being built as part of the Work Surface initiative
and is going to replace the existing Expert Finder tool that CTS engineers,
escalation engineers, managers, duty managers, TAMs, and others agents use
today. It will enable the search capability to above persons by searching for
the appropriate queue, and experts/people, depending upon queue attribute (more
than is stored in MSSolve). To enable this, Radius UI would require queue data
from MSSolve. The goal of the Incident Management (IM) Queue service is to
support the Radius application search capability.
Responsibilities:
- Involved in Master Test Plan document
preparation.
- Worked on WCF service automation individually.
- Developed Test Harness tool for testing the WCF
service manually (Value added

Microsoft Individual Permissions Tool:
MS-Individual has tools for
data management (DMC) and customer support (CST). To provide access to these
tools for any user, permission has to be created in Secured services group. DMC
facilitates the marketers to Export/Import the customer’s data for their
business development and building up the strategies for the Microsoft product
sales and distribution. CST provides support functionality to Admin. Request to
access these tools had been managed through Email communication to DMS Admin.
Currently DMS Admin uses MS-I permission tool to sync permissions with Secure
Services for appropriate permission requests for DMC. To manage the permission
request for CST and SQL permissions, MS-Individual decided to build this tool
in its own data center which is managed by MSCOM Operations.
Responsibilities:

Involved in the Test Case creation and
migration in VSTS.

Worked on Silverlight Coded UI automation.

Used ADO.NET for
SQL Server database interactions using Data Adapters, Data Reader and Dataset

Created stored
procedures in SQL Server to retrieve data from multiple tables.
