ACADEMIC PROJECT:
PROJECT #1
Title: E-Police for traffic violation detection
using GSM modem and advanced sensor technology.
Description:
This project deals with the usage of
wireless sensor technology and detection of traffic violation. In this system
every vehicle is equipped with a smart RFID information board with embedded
display system. The road side traffic information transponder interacts with
each vehicle and passes real status of the signal environment to the vehicle.
Vehicle related data is also transferred to the remote transponder. The LCD
display in the traffic signal kit displays both vehicle theft and vehicle
accident. The information about the vehicle is sent to the base station
instantly and to the police with reader unit.
Role and Responsibilities:
Involved
in writing and debugging codes to the microcontrollers.
PROJECT #2:
Title: RFID and GSM based attendance system
Technology: C, Kiel micro vision (for
8051 and ARM7) 7.0, NXP - Debugging Tool
Description:
RFID and GSM based
attendance system uses RFID tags for each person. A person marks the attendance
by swiping the tag near RFID reader module and the message will be send whenever
the card is swept or any attendance is marked. Attendance monitoring is very
simple. This System assigns a unique card for each Student. A Student places
the RFID card in
the
RFID card Reader. The RFID card Reader reads down the Student details. The
details will be indicated on the LCD display and send through GSM modem to
parents the display also indicates the current time. The Interface software is
responsible to control the door depends upon the data base verification. The holding
capacity (number of Students) of there a derris dependsupon the memory
interfacing, i.e., whether interfacing with PC or separate RAM units. This project
is implemented using RFID card reader, 89C51microcontroller, driver unit for
door/locker control and LCD display is used to display the tag details.
Role and Responsibility:
Involved in writing and debugging
codes to the microcontrollers.
