Project:
Datawarehouse for Reporting:
Analyse and document the business requirements for reporting needs and design/develop the data marts accordingly. Ensure the proper data validation rules are applied along the ETL process to create reliable reports.

Roles:
·          Lead the requirement gathering sessions to analyse the business reporting needs
      and prepare technical documentation as needed.

As a Business Intelligence analyst, responsible for supporting internal and external clients accessing data, interpreting requests, and programming and creating outputs in order to maximize the value of the information captured in the company's systems.


Projects:
Data Warehouse and Reporting System: Implementing a data warehouse for a reporting system, extracting data from different software systems that are used to incorporate clinical, administrative, provider, authorization, claims, and billing data into one information management system. Responsible for all designing, developing, testing, implementing Cognos reports and dashboards delivered in line with business objectives.

Flex care Reporting System: Lead and implemented the business reporting system, using  Cognos, as part of migration to a new clinical data management solution , Beacon (Flex care).Was responsible for design and implementation of the reporting and data migration efforts.

Project Description: The goal of a Data Cleansing Services effort is to eliminate data inconsistencies and invalid values within the below databases. The scope included converting the existing data from different databases to the format required for the Applications.

The initial scope of the data conversion and cleanup services was defined by preparing the Data Quality Analysis report. This report detailed the issues found in the Databases and specifies the tasks/activities to be performed jointly with the customers IT teams for Databases cleanup.

Role Description:
•    Lead the Data Analysis and planning phase
·          Responsibilities included Project planning and scheduling, Statement of work
·          Define the Data Cleansing and Conversion Methodology
•    Prepare the Data Quality Analysis report:  classifies ‘dirty data’ as data quality, availability or integrity problems. Potential defects included:
-       Absence of a value in a required field
-       Violation of a range or check constraint
-       Violation of a formatting rule
-       Invalid value for a column which has value set (domain) validation.
•    Perform Data Analysis: Analyzed the source of the problem (the table and column from which the defective data was extracted), the extent of the problem (the percentage of records in which the problem was detected), the nature of the defect, and the record in which it occurred.
   •   Perform Data Management: Working with the Database administrators to maintain and version control varies revisions to datasets.
•   Perform Data Cleansing: Based on the nature of the dirty data detected, recommend the strategy to be used to clean the defects.
