Directed this four year
construction project which was the US State Department’s highest security
project ever awarded. Managed all procurement (all US origin), logistics, HR
(all top secret cleared American workers), security, as well as successful
construction. Project was completed on time under rigorous security scrutiny.

Managed all construction,
testing and mining exploration activities including direct hire, subcontract
labor, and schedules through the use of CPM.

Guided and managed the
construction of a power plant consisting of four generators, a desalination
plant for island drinking water, a dry-dock ship-lift facility and several
multi-family living quarters.

Managed Construction on world’s largest
[750,000 lbs/hr/steam] wood chip burning power plant. It consisted of three (3)
Riley Stoker boilers burning 120 tons of wood chips per hour and two 45MW ABB
turbine generators requiring 750,000 pounds per hour of high- pressure steam. Project
was completed ahead of schedule and within budget.

Bureau of Prisons – Three Rivers, TX [1989 – 1990]

Constructed a 1,400 bed, 22 building, 550,000
sf security prison; the first in the history of the Bureau of Prisons to be
completed ahead of schedule.
Applied Energy Services – Poteau,
OK [1988 – 1989]
·
Site and foundations for a
co-generation power plant [45,000 CY concrete and 7.5 million lbs steel].
Completed ahead of schedule.
Basin Electric Power Coop – Bismarck, ND
1976 – 1979
I served as
Construction Manager on the largest coal fired power plant to be built at that
time. The Laramie River Station was built in Wyoming and has been one of the
most reliable plants in the country.
This six year project consisted of three 600 MW units for a total of
1800 MW. It had a peek work force of 3250 and a cost of $1.5 billion cost. It
was built on time and within budget. I was also construction manager on
building the Grey Rocks damn that supported the water supply for the power
plant.

I served as
Construction Manager on the Shedgum Power Plant which consisted of 17 gas fired
units, totaling 1800 MWs of power generation. There were nine GE units and
eight Westinghouse units.
