- Responsible for developing and testing BizTalk assemblies to support Case Exchange between HP Service Manager and the customer’s service management system.
- Case Exchange mapping was accomplished with a combination of Visual Studio orchestrations, direct maps, functiods, SQL Server database lookups, XSLT transforms, and HPSM RAD programming and tables.
- Developed a VirtualBox appliance, localizing database calls and message processing, combining a stand-alone development environment with unit-testing support.
- This VirtualBox appliance resulted in an improvement to the business by substantially shortening turn around time and improving the quality of delivered assemblies.
- Developed a Perl/SQLite database application to discover, classify, identify and report on network based hardware, operating systems, software, and peripherals across SUPERVALU’s network of retail operations.
- This position reports directly to the IT Director for Retail Deployment. It has saved SUPERVALU $10,000’s by offsetting a manual process that was both inaccurate and unverifiable, simplifying Lifecycle and Asset Management.

serving southeast Alaska and Canada with a fleet of float equipped
aircraft. Responsible for on-time, safe, and efficient transportation of the
company’s new and repeat customers, in demanding conditions with tight
schedules.

- Consulting engineer supporting the development and release of a new, enterprise-wide retail transactional system for Albertsons’ pharmacy business.
- Key areas of involvement include peripheral evaluation, sourcing, procurement, vendor relationship, network and database planning, QA/QC support, deployment, and various areas of project management and documentation.
- Project scope was in excess of $50,000,000. Routine interaction was with project sponsors and senior company management.
- Led the team responsible for the design of Micron’s LAN upgrade. This design scaled to 40,000 user ports and 4,000 server ports. Designed and installed special purpose LANs for unique company needs such as server backup and life safety systems.
- Developed a network simulation environment to prototype new network designs and applications, as well as to analyze current operations and performance.
- Assigned to a team of cross-functional senior engineers to select Micron’s new middleware and storage area network solutions.
- Researched and
implemented new software, hardware, and network technologies at INL. These included numerous client/server
applications, software engineering environments, multi-protocol routing,
SNMP agents, and network based management systems to support computers,
users, and services.
- Lead software
engineer for the Contingency Support System (CSS). CSS was comprised of a base station and
self-contained mobile units, linked by satellite communications,
supporting secure data, voice, message, and image processing and
transmission.
- Responsible
engineer for the installation, testing, management, drivers, and software
support for the initial Ethernet based IP network at INL.
