Project Description: Saxon Mortgage is the Mortgage company which deals with the finance and loans. Providing the vast analysis of the Loans from different banks and loan status is the main scope of the Project. To accommodate the data from the different service providers in place of existing service provider is also the role of the project. Datawarehouse is build using SQL Server 2008/2005. Merging of data from 2 different service providers in to one database as staging area (ODS) and building the mappings from ODS to Datawarehouse is the Project scope.

Responsibilities:

·         As a developer played a key role in the designing the data modeling for the Datawarehouse and staging area to accommodate the data from the different service providers and implemented the mappings in Informatica to upload the data from different sources in the EDW.
·         Involved in analyzing the data from existing service provider and developed a matching criteria to accommodate the data from new service provider.
·         Worked with Informatica creating mapping and mapplets using various transformations like Joiner, Filter, Aggregator, Lookup, Application Source Qualifier, Router, Sorter, Rank, Normalizer, SQL Transformation, Stored Procedure and Update Strategy.

The total HR data is extracted from Oracle Database to Data Warehouse using Informatica and PL/SQL stored procedures. Reports in the web were created by calling the stored procedures in Oracle.
