Major
Industrial Projects:
(1) Socket programming using crossover cables:
Have extensive hands on experience
in implementing socket programming using Ethernet crossover cables. One PC
acted as server and another as client and both are connected over the crossover
cables. This project in part of implementing vehicular networks security
protocols on the On Board Unit (OBU) of the vehicles.
(2) FPGA (VHDL) CORDIC Implementation of Digital Beamforming:
Implemented Digital beamforming algorithm (MVDR
Beamforming) in the Vertex II Pro FPGA using CORDIC Systolic array. Software
version of this module was tested successfully using rigorous MATLAB simulink
modeling.
(3) Assembly language Digital Filters implementation:
Implemented Digital Filters (FIR, IIR) on TMS735C3x processors. Have
extreme hands on experience with DSP assembly languages, 8051 and 8085 assembly
languages. Familiar with Embedded C and Pearl scripting languages.
(4)
OPNET
and NS3 network simulators:
Implemented LTE based mobile communications in OPNET
and NS3 network simulators. Analyzed performance of the various networking
protocols OLSR, OSPF and also realized the TCP/IP and UDP transport layer
protocols in OPNET.
(5) Digital Receivers Implementation using C, C++ and MATLAB:
Extensive experience in using
C, C++ and MATLAB for the digital receiver implementations. Implemented MMSE and MPOE (Minimum probability
of error) based receiver filters using C and C++. Realized the complete digital
receiver modules (A/D converters, Digital downcoverters, Digital Signal
Processors), QAM modulations on MATLAB and C.
(6) Forward error correction coding implementation in C:
Implemented Reed
Solomon based forward error correction codes and also Berlekamp–Massey decoder using C. Demonstrated the error
detection and error correction capabilities in C language.
(7) Wavelet transform based JPEG-2000 implementation:
I have also implemented Wavelet transform based
JPEG-2000 standard in MATLAB. Analyzed the image compression capabilities and
distortion effects due to packet looses in MATLAB.
