·         Deployed to Headquarters US Central Command as Senior Watch Officer; briefed USCENTCOM/J6 (CIO equivalent) daily on real-time network operations supporting over 180,000 personnel deployed to over 30 locations in the Middle East. 
·         Swiftly devised and implemented plan to certify flight personnel on Department of Defense mandated Information Assurance training such as Security + and Net +, five months ahead of schedule.
·         Led 3d Combat Communications Group-wide effort as Air Force “pilot unit” to transition to state-of-the- art converged communications deployable IT packages as well as phase out of legacy equipment, reducing required manpower by 15%.


Flight Commander, Airfield Systems Flight - (Jun 2007 - Sep 2008)
34th Combat Communications Squadron (34 CCS) Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, OK
Supervised 34-person flight comprised of four distinct career fields in three separate work centers.  Directed training, maintenance and operations of seven Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems, valued at over $20M. 
·         Responsible for the security of three separate networks and over 45K devices as Network Defense Officer for Multinational Forces-Iraq (MNF-I); developed theater-wide vulnerability management program.
·         Managed response to 942 computer security events across 20+ bases in Iraq; sustained 24/7/365 IT operations for critical mission; limited spread of two major computer virus outbreaks to three bases with no impact to ongoing operations.
·         Directly oversaw multi-agency, $700,000 Precision Approach Radar transmitter upgrade; led first-ever field test for Air Force-wide upgrade while recovering project timeline and saving $3M in contract penalties.
Combat Support Operations Officer - (Jul 2006 - Jun 2007)

Led squadron 12-person operations support staff; directed, planned and controlled the operations and maintenance of $40M of deployable IT equipment.  Responsible for maintaining unit readiness for over 150 personnel and 20 major IT systems. 
·         Deployed to Nicaragua as the senior communications officer for tri-service Joint Task Force-NEW HORIZONS (JTF-NH); led team of 20 personnel, engineered and activated communications for 240 personnel in austere environment.
·         Directed all maintenance actions for squadron’s 47-vehicle fleet, leading to a 100% on-time maintenance rating for 11 straight months and no missed movements due to maintenance issues.
·         Trusted by squadron commander to manage squadron’s annual $400K operations and maintenance budget.
Mission Support Group Executive Officer - (Aug 2005 - Jul 2006)
20th Mission Support Group (20 MSG) Shaw Air Force Base, Sumter, SC
Managed logistics, travel/daily schedule, and executive communications for commander of 6,000-person unit.  Established
business practices and administrative procedures; served as the primary point of contact between 20 MSG, higher headquarters and
other base agencies.  Supervised two enlisted information managers. 
·         Developed business rules to ensure group met all deadlines on administrative tasks; advised the commander on proper allocation of resources to meet mission requirements.
·         Lead coordinator for the Shaw AFB’s Survival and Recovery Center; provided base leadership command and control of 19 squadrons and over 10,000 base personnel during exercises and real-world emergencies.

Led team of 100+ technicians across four work centers to design, build and maintain Ninth Air Force’s Training Air Operations
Center (TAOC). 
·         Developed engineering and systems integration plan to deploy over 30 unique command and control systems; provided training for over 1,000 Ninth Air Force personnel annually.
·         Oversaw TAOC Certification & Accreditation project from cradle to grave; corrected over 1,060 information assurance inspection discrepancies resulting in a 100% vulnerability mitigation rate.
·         Lead engineer for Ninth Air Force’s premier joint and coalition BLUE FLAG exercise, created five standalone networks with over 700 workstations, which enabled over 1,620 combat air missions.  Fully integrated coalition partners from 20+ countries.
·         Managed 24/7 12-person help desk during training and exercises; responded to customer requests and resolved conflicts when requests could not be filled.
