Toys R US (Japan)– Lead information architect
Domain – ecommerce
Toys “R”US Japan has different payment methods like Named day delivery, Convenient store payment, Cash on delivery. The goal was to launch the Toys ”R”US Japan site on GSI’s V11 platform.

My Responsibilities – My role was to design entire shopping experience and overall site architecture and create wireframes for Toys “R” Us Japan.

·       Designed wireframes of Checkout, Shopping experience, My account and helpdesk and store locator

Persistent systems, Pune | March 2007 - June 2010
Role - Usability Engineer
§  Cloudburst (March 2010 – Jun 2010) - Lifecycle UCD project
 Domain
– Cloud computing  
 Cloudburst enables users to perform end to end evaluation and performance  evaluation of web application. The application allows users to create and upload  scripts and tests. Users can create different scenarios while running a test. The  application will generate graphs and reports which will give the overall picture of the  application’s performance.

My Responsibilities
My role was to re-design the existing application, re-design the task flows, come up with the optimal task flow, IA and improving the overall look and feel of the application. The key design steps followed are as follows,
·          Requirement understanding - Defining business goals and user goals
·          Design - Designed high level Information architecture and navigation.
·          Created design concepts
·          Designed wireframes of the key task flows
·          Monitored visual design


§  PayPal (June 2009-July 2009) – Usability Testing
 Domain
– Finance/online payment gateway  
 The web based application provides online payment gateway for Indian Users. Goal  is to allow users to make secure online payments without sharing financial  information with the flexibility to pay using their account balances, credit cards or  personal financing.

 Responsibilities –
My role was to conduct the usability test session with users. Play  both roles as a moderator (when required) and an observer, analyze the findings and  create a UT report with recommendations. I was responsible for,
·          Arranging  the setup of the UT lab
·          Conducting the Usability testing
·          Capturing the user insights and recordings with Morae
·          Analyzing the users response
·          Create the UT report
Achievement – I won the spot award for conducting Usability testing for PayPal at Persistent usability lab.


§  eBay, San Jose (Aug 2007 – Nov 2007, July 2008 – Oct 2008)
 Domain – e-Commerce
 Role- (Consultant) Lead interaction designer
 My eBay acts a small gateway to the entire eBay search results pages.
 The goal was to come up with the new trends of Interaction design patterns, create a  wow experience for users, to entice more and more users and encourage them to  use my eBay before entering in the whole world of eBay. I was responsible to design  and change the user experience of Saved searches and saved sellers in My eBay.  Key responsibilities which I performed are,

 Web effective is an on-demand software application for conducting customer  experience research on the web sites and other industry sites. It provides powerful  tools for creating, conducting and analyzing customer experience studies. I  performed following tasks,

 Role - Consultant interaction designer
 The tool shows you your profit and loss at a glance, so you always know how your  home based business is doing, Creates customized invoices and estimates and  Identifies and tracks tax-deductible business expenses.I was involved in conducting  the user interviews for small businesses in managing their finance.

§  Oracle (May 2007 – July 2007)

Oracle Identity Management allows enterprises to manage end-to-end lifecycle of  user identities across all enterprise resources both within and beyond the firewall. It  allows deploying applications faster, applying the most granular protection to  enterprise resources, automatically eliminating latent access privileges, and much  more. I was responsible for coming up with design concepts and wireframes for the  modules in OIM. §  Opinmind - (Jan 2009 – Apr 2009) Lifecycle UCD project
 Domain – Advertising/Social networking  
 Opinmind enables online advertisers to reach the right audience with the right ad at  the right time for the right price. Opinmind self-serve marketplace allows marketers  to transact online, create custom creative and launch campaigns within Opinmind  publisher’s network. It also provides a co-branded interface to publishers if they wish  to install one. I was involved in the holistic UCD project. Key design steps followed  are,

 Goal was to create seamless user experience for the digital TV and IPTV users. To  simplify the experience of important tasks like EPG, On demand etc.

The approach was to map the underlying patterns in this entire domain with a view to come up with a generic for­mula which allowed us to visualize any kind of data in the future.
