This project is part of Goldman Sachs Electronic Trading under securities division. Reporting andAnalytics for both internal and external client usage were created  using Perl and Sybase ASE database. I am playing a lead role in architecting, migrating and advancing the reporting and analytics using cognos 10.1 (and software and technologies like IQ, KDB, Perl, Java and c++).This role involves complex BI implementations in record time with zero tolerance of even minor errors. The project was related to Account Receivables, Account payable and inventory Reporting.Managing and Designing BO Rapid Mart Reports (Account Receivables/Account Payables and Inventory for Honeywell Aerospace) for SAP generated data of Finance and Manufacturing for Honeywell Aero, USA. The reports were never ending reports as user requirements and data problems occurred very often. These AR\AP reports were very visible reports across various hierarchies in Honeywell Aerospace

Responsibilities:             

Ø      Take the report requirements from Report owner and prioritize them

Ø      Effort estimation

Ø      Fully a Client facing  role(Both business and technical users)

Ø      Meeting with the offshore team for Requirements  (ETL/BI) and help them do the right data loading and report designing

Ø      UAT the reports for data correctness (We named it TOE "Tie Out Exercise") vis-à-vis SAP transactions

The project was implementation of Supply Chain Datamart. The Client is a Fortune 500 client involved into manufacturing of Industrial and health care gases and equipments. The Client had reporting and data analysis needs which they wanted on web. The Report Consumers or the Business people were very busy in terms of their schedule and required lot of time to answer various questions which were part of requirement analysis.

The hierarchy /structure of the Client organization was such that getting the requirements frozen was a challenge. This was a project which was the brand new initiative of the group towards BI\DWH

Pidilite industries is a FMCG Company .The project was related to generating Reports for the Primary sales of almost 1000 products of Pidilite Industries .The reports are shown to almost 250 Territory Sales Incharge (TSI) of the company spread across India. The Reports weree shown on the Web with Row level security on the Products sales data on monthly basis .The project ‘s critical point is clustering of Web I and BCA on windows server as on the beginning of month the concurrent users become 250 in numbers.
