of a team involved in the design and development of the Portfolio Manager
Compensation System (Cash). Cash
is
a multi-tier Winforms
application that uses Oracle as the backend and is used to calculate compensation
data for Investment managers. Cash was developed using the Composite UI Application
Block (CAB) framework, .NET Framework, C#, Component One controls, and
Enterprise Library Application Blocks technology. It uses the Model View
Presenter (MVP) design pattern and ClickOnce technology for deployment.

Responsibilities:

Developed a prototype to show and demo the Cash System to the business using
C#, Winforms, Component One controls, ADO.NET and Microsoft Access as the
backend.

Design and develop user controls used in the Presentation Layer. The Presentation
Layer makes heavy use of Tree controls, Split Container controls, Tool Strip
controls, Component One C1TrueDB and C1Flex Grid controls and uses the
Backgroundworker extensively to accomplish multithreading. Winforms data
binding is used for data presentation.

Design and develop business objects used in the business layer that
interface with the back end. Used ODP.Net, Enterprise Library Data Access,
Logging and Exception Handling Application blocks. Also responsible for writing
stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQL

responsible for migrating the Chase Payments application from C/C++ to .NET.
The Chase Payment System (CPS) is included as part of Chase Insight - a
windows-based multi-user treasury software system comprised of a suite of
applications that provide clients with balance, transactional information,
payment functionality and data integration in a highly secure environment. Agile
Extreme Programming (XP) methodology was used.

Responsibilities:

As a lead CPS application developer I was responsible
for assisting consultants in the planning and designing of the new system. I
attended Microsoft .Net seminars and provided mentorship and guidance to junior
developers.

Worked within a team of 4 consultants and 16
developers to design and develop the new CPS application using 3-tier
architecture (UI, business and data tiers). Used Windows Forms and Infragistics
NetAdvantage controls to implement the UI tier. Used ADO.NET technology for
data storage and retrieval.

I migrated the entire business logic for the
Chase Payments application from C to C#. This involved creating business
objects and data access objects that interface with the data tier.
·
Responsible for testing, debugging and enhancing
the old CPS and Check Printing applications.
·
As part of the on going maintenance of the
CPS application I developed a DLL to validate International Bank Account
Numbers and SWIFT Addresses which resulted in cost savings of an estimated $1
million dollars per year for the company

X controls that provide desktop document image viewing, editing, and storing
features. This product was bundled with Windows 98/ NT/ 2000.

Designed and developed an imaging application
that allowed users running a host application in a terminal emulation on the
Microsoft Windows desktop to perform imaging functionality on UNIX/AS400
platforms. The application used Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) to communicate with
imaging API software and a data extraction program.

Maintained the Wang Word Processor API set on
the Wang VS platform using C and Assembly
·
Designed, developed and maintained a monitor
program for the Wang Universal Power Supply Run-in Rack using C and 8086
Assembly on DOS Operating Systems. The program consisted of RS-232
communication routines, menu development, data collection and error reporting
routines.
