I was recruited to be the principal developer of the InfoTELL VoIP personal
assistant start-up by CMU-Qatar. Responsible for exploratory prototypes, alpha

As senior member of staff, I was responsible for leading research teams in
developing advanced prototypes mostly focused on virtual reality. I produced a
series of high profile, large audience, virtual reality exhibitions. This
included the proposed Singapore Arts Centre, the Chinatown walk-through to
evaluate proposed modifications, and numerous other public exhibitions. I not
only programmed the complete systems but wrote the script, story-boarded, and
performed them.

I was selected as an assigned member (from Honeywell) to the cooperative
research think tank. In the human interface program, I developed the first
deliverable, SemNet, the first real-time three dimensional visualization system
for abstract knowledge. This system was used by the two flagship projects, Cyc
(a common-sensed based knowledge system) and the natural language project.
- Programmed and ran one of the world's
first online role playing games.
- Developed the GUI components to the MCC
software program's flagship Lisp development environment.
- Developed the Tourist Artificial Reality
for shared navigation in information spaces.
Honeywell, Systems & Research Center Minneapolis, MN 1978-1984
I worked with a large team of psychologists programming a myriad of
technologies focused on military applications. They included
"paper-less" cockpits, man-in-the-loop performance measurement, high
fidelity visual simulations, and several classified projects related to stealth
technology.
