PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Responsible for all material, tools,
supplies, services, and equipment requirements necessary for day-to-day
operations and production within the organization
- Create and monitor purchase
orders; tracks for appropriate approvals, account numbers, and receipt of
goods, including the expedition of orders to ensure on time delivery of
product to our customers
- Maintain the integrity of orders
to ensure compliance of Aerospace quality specifications
- Capacity to read and interpret
documents such as blue prints, drawings, quality specifications, and other
information relevant to the Aerospace Industry
- Simultaneously served as Human
Resources for approximately one year during my tenure within the
organization
- Placed orders to vendors for
materials and services including components, supplies, tools, and equipment
necessary for the company to function on a daily basis; expedited orders
to ensure timely delivery; also coordinated vendor product samples for
engineers for product testing, research and development
- Supported other departments as
required to solve any issues related to the business, especially
Engineering, to provide components and materials to meet aggressive
development schedules
- Reduced inventory by more than 50%
through the implementation of a Kan Ban System of Inventory, and participated
in Kaizan events as part of a lean strategy
- Maintained a large database of
over 1,200 active members and increased membership by approximately 200
members, and billed and processed membership dues
- Recruited new members through
one-on-one interactions as well assisted to reinstate lapsed members
- Designed pamphlets/brochures for
membership recruitment that were distributed to Architectural schools and other
programs
- Planned, organized and facilitated
classes and architectural events, especially the implementation of the
organization's alliance with "CANstruction," coordinated major charity
events between both organizations
