Reporting
to VP of Operations / Supply Chain. I manage direct reports in execution of
all facets of the Planning and Procurement
functions in a multi-site environment, in addition to overseeing the
warehousing and distribution functions. Main focus is maintaining high-level
customer service fill rates of product portfolio consisting over fifteen
thousand SKU's. Synchronize efforts with cross-functional areas to ensure
plan schedules are met. Provide Inventory reporting, and management
strategies. Initiate and monitor cost savings activities both in, and out of
house. Work closely with Operations to influence resource requirements, and
allocations. Regulate shop loading, through capacity planning. Key role in
supplier selection, negotiations, VMI initiatives, and relationship
development. Create and maintain long term supply plans, and spend analysis
with associated savings. Key role in new product launches (NPI). Manage over
$55 mil. In annual purchasing spend. Other responsibilities include:
· Budgetary reporting.
· Oversee day-to-day activities of Planning, Purchasing, and Warehouse
group to ensure timely execution of MRP
messages, and on-time customer delivery.

· Currently leading a
“Sourcing Framework Overhaul” as the organization migrates to a heavily
weighted sourcing
entity while manufacturing transitions out.

Consistent annual cost
reductions for Manufactured, and Purchased COGS by employing robust business
improvement methodology based on strong measures, lean principles, 6 sigma,
effective capacity planning, & VMI. This also led to overall lead time
reductions, and reduced inventories. Much of this activity included a global
outsourcing initiative while in tandem maintaining best in class customer
service levels.

Team Lead for the successful transfer of a domestic Soft Goods production
facility in Oklahoma, to a new Distribution Center in Indiana, and production
in China. All managed out of New Jersey.
