Implementation Phase: Responsibilities included supervising the cabling vendor and coordination with the customer on-site and the project owners. Coordination with the Staging area for any material required. Configuring the Equipment and testing. Documentation of the work done, test results as well as time and manpower involved in each activity.
Turn-Up Phase: Configuring the network equipment for remote access configuring the terminal server ports to match the characteristics of the end devices. Setting up firewalls on server based using Checkpoint and Hardware Cisco Pix’s Turn up a site and completely test it with Network operations. Create procedure documents to help other team members with configuration procedures.
