Proficient in the following areas:
• Cable and Harness Builder
Built everything from: heavy ‘O’ gauge, to BNC cable, to multi-stranded
Fiber-optic cables, and harnesses, for various companies, to commercial and military specifications. Some only a few inches long, to hundreds of feet long. Stand alone, in-ground conduits, EMI, and RF shields, wiring ladders and raceways, or buried in multiple sub-assemblies. Trouble shooting when necessary.
• E/M Assembly Technician Specialist
Have done a lot of prototype, R&D lab, and production floor; assembly work. Building all types of systems using electrical, electronic components, sub-assemblies, rack systems, cabling and harnessing, p.c.b.'s, semiconductors, etc.. Simultaneously doing: building, drilling, tapping, metal-working, wiring, layout, testing, troubleshooting, and Q.A. work, on all of these. Following engineering: eco's, wire-run lists, blueprints, schematics, process sheets, written instructions, drawings, and company's commercial or military standards.
In and out of Clean room, EMI, ESD, and RF; sensitive envirionments.
• Test Technician II
Testing various items, using some schematics, test procedures, blueprints, multi-meters, DVMs, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, PC programs, and various other equipment. To measure and tune: RF, Digital, and Analog, systems up to company specs.. Sometimes re-working, replacing, or adding, parts and components to allow this to happen.
