support for ~200 switches and subtending MGW infrastructure in a GSM 2G/3G
environment. This team managed the
vendor interface with Nortel and drove improvement in the product uptime as

Built the team from 5 to 12 members and created, per management, the
most mature vendor-specific core network Tier 3 team.

Managed a team of 7 Implementation
Engineers and up to 10 contractors to implement various core elements such as
Tekelec STPs, Nortel HLRs, GAIT services, Agilent monitoring equipment,

operations of 6 National Data Centers.Oversaw implementation of 16+ pairs of

Responsible for the administration,
coordination and implementation of all network dial plan, routing and
switch/HLR-related translations database modifications for the BellSouthMobility
DCSGSM network in North/South Carolina and East Tennessee. Assisted with implementation of Nortel
Broadband STPs in the BellSouth Mobility DCS network.Administrated all software
upgrades, as well as translations and maintenance of the Broadband STP’s. Implemented the LNP functionality, querying
to ported landline numbers in the DCS footprint

Responsible for the 7x24 technical
operations support, surveillance and performance management of all elements of
the PCS network through the operation and utilization of a highly sophisticated computer-based network management system within
the centralized Network Management Center (NMC) of BellSouth Mobility DCS. Responsibilities included providing on-site
field technical support and leadership to field network maintenance personnel,
as required, for infrastructure equipment installation and acceptance,
high-level technical problem resolution, emergency network restoral support,
and field trial support for both hardware and software applications.
