Comcast Cable - West Division – Englewood , Colorado
– Contract through APEX Systems Inc.
Sr. Project Manager – March 2010
– July 2011 – 1 year contract
This position
required a project manager with an ability to learn the Direct Sales and
Salesforce.com project scope and purpose quickly by stepping into a troubled
project and make an immediate impact toward getting the project back on track,
and create stability in the teams’ efforts. I had accomplished not only the
required tasks, but in addition to that, negotiated a more robust set of
deliverables and requirements in the first 30 days. Although the project had
been designed as a RUP waterfall-executed project, the realized schedule slip

the deployment plan back into an acceptable alignment. The 3rd party
developers were transitioned into an Agile/SCRUM development, test, and
execution methodology under my leadership.

the executive status reporting and strategy-planning meetings, manage and weigh
risks and their mitigation processes, drive enhancements to requirements, and
production implementation oversight. Agile “sprints” were assigned to smaller
teams to ensure robust and scalable software was being delivered and deployed
to the production environments. Field-testing was performed in “sprints” across
smaller test teams to determine the most compatible hardware platforms for the
software redesign to include the incorporation of the Salesforce.com workforce
management packages.
·
Take
the voice of the sponsor, customers and key stakeholders to derive more
detailed and measurable business and functional requirements in a very dynamic
environment transitioning from a purely Waterfall methodology to a hybrid “Spiral
methodology” integrating Agile, to rescue an inherited troubled project.
