manufacturing, functional test development, sustaining issue resolution, product quality

as the Product Engineering’s Environmental Steward for legislative changes such
as EU RoHs, China RoHs, Korean Recycle requirements, IATA, and DOT rules and
regulations. As Environmental Steward, challenged to identify, lead, and
communicate division change requirements to worldwide HP manufacturing sites
and manufacturing partners through Engineering Change Orders and closed loop feedback
communication system.

Results
§ Identified
need for modification, then pitched and won a major proposal implementing a new
Engineering Change Order system which eliminated an
old manual “paper based” system to a new electronic system. This new system
automated many of the previous manual processes thus reduced the amount of
manpower required to support ECO signoff and made signoff easier to track.
§ Conceived,
created, and implemented a proactive Continuous DFx process to communicate
manufacturing and customer issues to Design Teams across all stages of a
product’s lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of critical information with
potential impact to product changes and new product designs.
§ Played a
major role actively participating on a corporate Label Strategy Team formed to
drive five business groups to standardize processes, collaborating with peers
to ensure consistency across all business units.

In
1996, assigned as Manager to the New Product Manufacturing Operations’ Storage
Products Group. Acknowledged as manufacturing focal point for new product
introductions into Compaq and it’s sub-contract manufacturing sites.

accountable for key deliverables including: development of manufacturing
deployment strategies, execution of factory ramp plan to forecasted demand,
communication of material forecast, definition of strategic risk components and
