Project Description:
Multicash Online:
Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS)
has been using this classical electronic banking product called Multicash.
Multicash online is an internet based application which provides payment
services like transaction/batch input and processing, account inquiry and
statement download to the RBS clients. The customer uses Access online front
end application to generate payments and in turns makes a transaction. The
payment is then tracked and routed to the central bank server from the country
specific local back office server. The statements are thus generated and sent
to the local back office where the user can view the same in his/her accounts
in front end. Presently, this application is being used by 6 countries (EMEA)
for RBS.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the
installation, configuration and day-to-day tasks associated with ensuring
the smooth and efficient operation of Banking application for the clients.
- Involved in
supporting and proactively monitoring of full functionality the
application to make it available 24/7 and resolve any issues as soon as
possible based on its priority.
- Executes
Banking application updates, migration and remote maintenance projects
tasks for customers.
- Responsible
for operation support and maintenance on all development, test and
production environments.
- Investigate
and troubleshoot deployment issues and hence try to minimize the impact of
errors on clients’ systems by providing prompt solutions.
- Execute the
various tasks for the projects assigned to the deployment group.
- Involved in
Updating the Deployment Documentation as processes improve and change
there by ensuring that every step of the project is properly documented.
- Participate
in organizing detailed deployment plans and projects’ schedules for the
