American Airlines AAdvantage Customer Service (ACS)
utilizes a mainframe application and 18 peripheral systems. Utilizing many applications in order to
service members is extremely cumbersome and time consuming. These systems had
to be replaced in order to sustain and grow revenue. The Mainframe system will
be sunset and replaced by Oracle Siebel Loyalty application. Idea is to build a
single, more efficient and functional GUI application accessible to all ACS
locations worldwide. It will lower the need for manual transactions, introduce
systemic compliance, and provide better filtering of source information,
reporting trends and account security.
As a Project Manager, led the feasibility study. Conducted the 90 day proof-of-concept
engagement. I was primarily focused business
analysis of data
migration related elements. It entailed converting 300+ tables from
legacy system to new Oracle Loyalty system. Created detailed Data migration
plan based on Agile/Scrum
methodology for 6 releases to migrate data. The plan/road map was based on
Agile methodology and was based on 6 release and 5 iterations per release.
