newly consolidated Institutional Support Services IT department
(ISS/IT) that oversees thehardware, software, application, data and user
support for 12 large multifaceted departmentsacross the UNM campus. Responsible
for the direct supervision of 4 full-time employees and 1student employee to
include work allocation, training, performance evaluation, fostering
acooperative work environment, and conducting any disciplinary actions.
Managementresponsibilities include, but are not limited to: acting as a liaison
between UNM IT and ISSdepartment customers, providing customer support for 180+
end users along with all aspects ofinformation systems, and system security.
Major accomplishments to date:
· Developed an
ISS/IT Desktop Support Matrix showing the skills and support available toour
customers.
· Facilitated the
merging of several existing IT departments to form the ISS/IT Departmentby
performing team building activities such as: meeting with each new department
underour support to ascertain their IT needs.
· Team leader for
the enterprising of PPD’s computerized maintenance management
software (TMA) on both main campus and 4 branch campuses.

Interim Manager of Work Control
Report to the Director of the Physical Plant Department (PPD) with
the full responsibility forthe management and maintenance of the department’s
computerized maintenance managementsystem, TMA. The TMA system is used to track
labor and materials for all work order relatedservices that the department
provides campus wide. Work Control tracks and processes billing toUNM
departments on the average of 50,000 per year. Responsible for the direct
supervision of 4full-time employees to include, work allocation, training,
promotion, performance evaluation,fostering a cooperative work environment, and
conducting any disciplinary actions. Managementresponsibilities include: TMA
user support and training, installation of website and software
upgrades, close working relationship with UNM IT, knowledge of
other UNM departmentaladministrative
systems, produce specialized productivity and cost reports, investigates
andresolves customer work order issues and assures nightly work order billings

to the Manager of Work Control with full responsibility for the maintenance of
thedepartment’s computerized maintenance management system, TMA. The TMA system
providescomprehensive data management for all of the maintenance and repair
activities for each of PPD’smaintenance, utilities, environmental, energy and
finance services divisions.Provided weekly training sessions for the Work
Control staff on TMA software changes,shortcuts, and business policy updates.
Responsible for all TMA system software upgrades andprovided training for TMA
system users. Designed and developed database structures andcustom reports

theOracle database for optimal database performance and maintained development,
