  • Currently, performs as a RAID (Rapid Aerostat Initial deployment) and BETSS-C (Base Expeditionary Targeting Surveillance System Combined) Trainer/Installer providing units within theater of operations with state-of-the-art ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) and FP (Force Protection). Completes and designs complex system installations and perform system test procedures. Troubleshoots and resolves issues that cannot be solved remotely. Fleet Airborne Reconnaissance Squadron FAIRCONRON (VQ-1)
IN-CONUS/O-CONUS led and directed a maintenance detachment team consisting of 10 personnel performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on 32 P-3C/ 16 EP-3 aircraft to include troubleshooting and restoration of the Digital Communications Management System (DCMS) resulting in 5,510 mishap free flight hours.
  • Repaired multiple downing discrepancies to include the removal and replacement of multiple (RAID) hard drives to meet operational commitments in Iraq; consequently, leading to a 98% mission completion rate.
  • Directed 10 technicians in the restoration, overhaul, and maintenance of 6 aircrafts on a rotating basis resulting in over 300 fixed discrepancies including the troubleshooting and repair on various antenna, RADAR, data link, and internal communication systems. 
  • Utilized electronic knowledge and in-depth troubleshooting skills to repair over 30 Airborne Reconnaissance Integrated Electronic mission critical System discrepancies, to include the rebuild and fabrication of LAN cables resolving all Transmission Protocol networking issues. U.S. NAVY, Oak Harbor, WA, Avionics/Aviation Electronics Technician (2004 - 2007)
Lead Avionics Instructor Mini-Microminiature /Module Test and Repair Work Center Supervisor,
  • Managed the efforts of 4 instructors and 3 follow-on students in a $50,000 Miniature/Micro-Miniature 2M/MTR NAVSEA work station upgrade. Efforts greatly contributed to avoiding any work stoppage/student throughput.
  • Inspectors praised work center as “the fleet’s best” 3 Avionics Technicians and 7 avionics lab trainers (valued at over $5,000,000) covering 42 avionics courses during critical manpower shortages, which ensured graduation of 128 technicians on time in support of Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for 5 specialized avionics courses; furthermore, innate ability to employ manpower and  material resources, performed curriculum design and development, wrote learning objectives; prepared test items; evaluated instructional materials and results; and counseled students on academic learning objectives and possible problems. U.S. NAVY, Oak Harbor, WA Avionics/Aviation Electronics Technician (1999 – 2004)
Miniature-Microminiature/Module Test and Repair Work Center Supervisor
  • As a Quality Assurance Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI), trained and managed efforts of 28 personnel in manufacturing and repair of 122 Cable Harnesses with zero rework; consequently, saving the Navy 176,000 dollars in Depot repair cost. Also, effectively coordinated, trained and utilized personnel to complete more than 13,499 repair actions, which led to a 33% increase in 600 Divisions productivity.
  • Demonstrating outstanding innovative skills repaired two Battle Force Intermediate Maintenance Activity mission critical control boxes for the HH-60 Helicopter Squadron and worked off-shift hours to repair one Sea Sparrow Missile wiring harness.  Additionally, during mission critical operations, fault isolated, troubleshoots and repaired the MK 23 TASS Radar system and associated cabling, leading to a successful NATO Sea Sparrow Missile shoot. Efforts saved time, money, and prevented failed mission objectives.
  • Action oriented and the driving force behind the work center’s ability to process an unprecedented 3,698 items in support  of more than 60 work centers and Carrier Air Wing Fourteen during a two month detachment. Also, utilizing superior cable fabrication techniques, rebuilt multiple cable harnesses for new Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS) returning bench to full mission capable status, and saving the Navy over $5,500 in depot level repair cost.

U.S. NAVY, NAS Lemoore, CA        Avionics/Aviation Electronics Technician (1996 – 1999)
  • Demonstrating superior knowledge and technical skills, provided numerous highly effective plans for the layout of new work space which greatly contributed the streamlining of overall work center productions efforts and greatly improved mission readiness ;consequently, including testing/troubleshooting and repair of specific Forward Looking Infrared Receiver (FLIR), Laser Detector/Tracker (LDT) and Navigation FLIR (NAVFLIR) WRA’s and conducted Quality assurance and safety reviews on all Equipment
  • Executing  duties as a Quality Assurance Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI), performed maintenance utilizing the AN/USM 629 Electrical Optical Test Set (EOTS) ;furthermore, demonstrating superior technical and leadership abilities managed the work center Operator/Maintainer production efforts which enabled a 65% reduction of F/A-18 thermal imaging system Pod Aft Section backlog.
  • Troubleshoot, bench tested and repaired over 200 weapons repairable assemblies using the Electrical Optical Test Set, in conjunction with various Test Program Set (TPS), input /output devices and software/hardware with multiple complexities in support of the F/A-18 thermal imaging system, which enable a 25% increase in the thermal imaging assets availability. Additionally, repaired 1128 WRA circuit cards and aircraft components cable assemblies which contributed to a 15% increase in work center 64D productivity.

U.S. NAVY, Bremerton, WA Avionics/Aviation Electronics Technician (1991 –1996)
  • Utilizing superior technician skills, troubleshoot, bench tested and fault isolated various Tactical Air navigations sets, multiple radio communication sets, and antenna systems saving the navy 6,000 dollars in depot level cost.
