Information Technology System (ITS) management, configuration, training, and
maintenance support for one SAIC Operation and six Divisions located in
Oklahoma City (OKC) that are spread among four separate locations. The primary
network consists of three servers with mix of Windows NT and 2000, 29 local
clients (37 nodes), and 15 remote clients.
Additionally, I provide direct contract support for two government
servers under two different contracts. I
have the additional duty to provide backup support to three Industrial Prime
Vendor (IPV) locations.
Additional duties:
Configuration and maintenance for the OKC Nortel Network based phone
system. Inventory management for
information and communication systems equipment. Consultant for OKC Delivery Order proposal
activities.
Achievements:
Migrated servers
and client computers to latest Windows technologies including 2000, 2003, XP,
Server OS, IIS, SharePoint (WSS) version1, 2, and 3. Installed and managed CISCO switches. Managed Exchange server after
migrating from Lotus Notes. Upgraded the
OKC network to 100Mbs and installed/configured the two primary servers for
VERITAS BackupExec. This effort
reconfigured the OKC network from a Windows NT based network to Windows
2000. I received high praise for
completing this effort with near zero downtime, and no impact to contract
activities. The majority of users were
not aware the changeover had taken place.
Additionally, supported a major shuffling of offices due to combining of
divisions that required movement of PC’s and phones.

and Alien Transportation System (JPATS), including JPATS sites geographically
separated from the Oklahoma City site. Provided information system hardware and software

as technical advisor to the Assistant
Director of JPATS. Worked with staff to
determine IT management needs, objectives, and opinions. Streamlined systems for
maximum utilization and productivity. Served as security officer for IT and the
ADT system. Evaluated and recommended requirements and functional
specifications for new systems, software and hardware. Conducted training and
education.
Achievements:
In support of JPATS, I setup a remote LANs in St. Croix, USVI, Manassas,
Virginia, Mesa, Arizona, Anchorage Alaska and other Forward Bases of Operation
(FBO). Provided support to the El Paso and Alexandria, Louisiana sites. Additionally, outside of JPATS I provided
support to the USMS Louisiana District (MWLOU) office. I was responsible for setup and configuration
of Windows 2000 Advanced and Windows SQL servers in the OKC main office. I created, tested, and implemented the first
ARGIS field site and assisted with the new T1 WAN layout. Additional duties: Supported and promoted the
IJCAS System at all USMS sites, setup and maintained the USMS multi-media

2000+ user LAN from Novell to MicroSoft based products. Connected a Xerox
DocuTech to the WAN via NT gateway services, there by making it available
agency wide via the network. Connected a MVS MainFrame a TCPIP LAN, making it
available agency and interagency wide. Converted FDOS image system to RS/6000
AIX technology and attached it to the LAN and WAN. Developed and implemented PC
clients to connect to the MainFrame and UNIX servers. Created the first two

year, $100,000 per month contract. Aggressively promoted and sold controllers
and DASD to various agencies, despite a very aggressive competitive push. Net

controllers to the State of Oklahoma Redesigned the State of Oklahoma hub
network to provide greater efficiency, ease of use, and availability. This action lead to the
installation of IBM's Information Network resulting in $59,000 per year in

all platforms increasing annuities for software licenses. Installed Oklahoma
