Introduction
Twenty-six years of experience in computer
systems and software engineering and customer liaison.
Being part of EMC’s Enterprise Storage
Division I perform the roles of architect, product and project manager for the
VMAX (Symmetrix) Enterprise Storage platform specializing on replication
technologies in the areas of High Availability, Business Continuance, Disaster
and Backup Recovery.
A key accomplishment at EMC was to identify
a disruptive business stall risk caused by lengthy and blocking customer asset
refresh. I played a major role cross functionally to work with customers and
enhance products and service offerings to address the enterprise data center
migration and data mobility towards the asset refresh problems that directly
impact core revenue cycles.
This effort opened up new opportunities in
server and storage virtualization. And by bridging corporate silo gaps and
developing a proof of concept with VMware, storage virtualization and EMC
storage, I showcased potential value in distributed and geographically
dispersed application processing. And led an acquisition which is now an
integral part of EMC’s cloud strategy.
Currently focused on storage replication
technologies in traditional and cloud infrastructure transformations to sustain
and increase the multi hundred million dollar revenue stream for EMC VMAX
enterprise and business class family products.
In addition looking at broader scope of EMC
cross product and EMC partner system integration to accelerate functional
value-add and innovation.
My previous tenure at Lucent Technologies
brought me in contact with executive level customer engagements to set and
reset expectations in international environments, as well as perform onsite
solution design and deployment of Telco VoIP and circuit switching Internet
Call Diversion technologies.
My tenure at Telecom Italia provided me
with an opportunity to develop complex workflow technologies and introduce
server level tiering in the IT stack. This helped unlock the value of data held
captive in Main Frames systems and applications and also deliver reengineered
business processes to fit the new three tier client server IT architectures.
Overall a seasoned professional that can
plan and execute business and technology challenges.
