Description : Actuator Test System is used
in aircraft’s and defense purposes. The project proposes a prototype for
testing an electro hydraulic actuator. Testing processes can be automated to
reduce the diagnostic times and to improve accuracy, which results in faster
detection of faults. Thus, higher throughput for testing the Unit Under Test
(UUT) is achieved. This model is developed for automated testing of high
performance, multiple redundant electro-hydraulic servo-actuators. Our main
objective of the project is to design micro controller based module for cyclic
testing of an Aircraft Actuator used to create air drag for speeding down the
aircraft after landing. The designed actuator test system helps in testing the
endurance of an actuator. So the actuator that clears the test is considered to
be good and can be implemented in aircraft.
Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Tester my responsibility was to check
the application manually to find issues (bugs) then forward it to higher
department.

Involved in manual testing that includes functional
testing, User interface testing, and regression testing using Black Box testing
methodologies.

Responsible for Smoke Testing &
Compatibility Testing.

Involved in executing the scenarios.
·

Cost and effort savings by analyzing testing activities and measuring actual
