, pick tags, putaway tags, and remittance advice.
·
Developed the technical designs
for numerous user exits. Many of the
exits pertained to the sales order, delivery, and transfer order (T.O.)
processes. One of the more interesting
exits allowed a client to pick directly from the receiving dock when an arriving
material had a backorder.
·
Designed a complex standalone
system for ‘Bundling’ picks after the T.O. creation process. The philosophy
behind this process was to create a much more sophisticated and efficient
picking system than what standard SAP had to offer. Designed a table containing ‘Bundle Rule’
data and a Dialog transaction (with table controls) for maintaining /
displaying the table. The bundling
program was driven by ‘bundle rules’ and included the following processes:
grouping T.O.s that could be packed together, the application of bundle filters
to the T.O.s (such as volume ranges, weight ranges, number of tags ranges,
number of picks ranges), sub-bundle limits, outer-bundle limits, and small
bundle allowances. Not only were T.O.s
resorted so that the Aisle picking pattern could be determined, but the T.O.s
were ‘bundled’ based on sub-bundle and outer-bundle limits before the print
tags were printed.
·
Created the technical designs
