Consultant - Visa Inc., Processing & Emerging Products Group, San Francisco CA 2005 contract
Product managed Visa Vue Advantage, a desktop business intelligence product sold to Visa Card Issuers for understanding cardholder behavior, developing targeted promotions, building sales volume, and increasing customer loyalty.  Provided pre and post sales direction to Visa's customers and sales team through hands-on demonstrations/presentations and ad-hoc portfolio analysis resulting in sales to American Savings Bank, Bank of America, Suntrust, Toyota, Citibank, US Bank, and Wells Fargo, generating ~$200K in new revenues.
Collaborated with Client Services, Legal, IT, and Operations groups on a daily basis to ensure both a smooth transition from prospect to client and to maintain quality service to long-term customers.  Received accolades.

Developed a reporting database for Visa Extras, a points-based rewards program designed to boost card usage and build loyalty.  Worked with product and systems groups to define cardholder lift and spend shift requirements to validate post promotion spend behavior and to improve program effectiveness.  Implemented processes to track, prioritize, integrate, and test business requirements.  Developed proof-of-concept database to maximize and streamline metric development and implementation.
Developed the OBO Service user guide for Visa Extras, a file transfer service for customers enrolled in Visa Extras.  Defined Business rules to ensure accurate understanding of program data requirements and business needs leading to improved service to clients.  Surveyed endusers and business partners to gather requirements and ensure accurate service implementation.  Became subject matter expert for the Visa Extras Service Activation Guide and Member Implementation Guide review committee.

Designed and built a business intelligence database for identifying authorization processing trends in the transaction processing industry (acquiring side) to aid planning and execution of Visa’s gateway strategy.
