Currently associated with VE Commercial Vehicle Ltd Indore as a Junior Manager in Product Design & Development [Transmission Shift System] from 19 Jan- 2015 to till date.
[VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. is a joint venture between the Volvo Group (Volvo) and Eicher Motors Limited (EML). Operational since July 2008, VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (VECV) comprises of five business verticals – Eicher Trucks and Buses, Volvo Trucks India, Eicher Engineering Components and VE Powertrain.   • Tatkal award for cost saving idea ball detent spring mechanism instead of roller detent & spring there was 140 rs/vehicle saving recorded.
  • Tatkal award for upgrading existing Pro 3016 vehicle to AMT & ensure the VM3 workshop for AMT functional check.
Ø PROJECT WORKED

v  Worked for project Next Gen 7 speed transmission.
ü  I was responsible for complete shift system design for 7 speed gear box by taken challenge of Part commonisation, FE improvement, less cost impact.
ü  I have done the rail comonisation to avoid assembly misplacement also used existing legacy part to reduce cost impact for new development.
ü  We have done compact 7 speed TM & completed validation by resulting more FE compared with existing 6 speed transmission.
ü  I have changed the 2nd /3rd combination with bigger dia synchronizer for better shift effort & smooth shifting.

v  Worked for project KSRTC & MSRTC bus.

ü  I was responsible for complete shift system design for KSRTC & MSRTC project by taken challenge of reduce the overall height of transmission to avoid fouling with wooden cross member, less shift effort, less cost impact.
ü  I have introduced the new upper case assy for single rod application by shuffling its features as a resultant we have achieved 120 mm height delta with respect to legacy upper case assy.
ü  Also I have replaced the single cone synchronizer with double cone synchronizer as a result we have reduced the shift effort significantly.
v  Worked for Pro 5000 Vehicle.
ü  I was responsible for complete shift system design for Pro 5000 project.(includes 15 HD trucks)
ü  It was totally new vehicle project in which we need to improve our shift effort & driving comfort strategy by designing the transmission with first time right Approach.
ü  For achieving First time right approach we have reviewed & maintain all design related document such as DFMEA,DVP,Interference checksheets,Design review check sheets,Tolerance stack analysis also we had horizontally deployed all learning lesson which was capture earlier.
ü  Double cone synchroniser deployed for better shift effort.
ü  Finally we have achieved zero design error after its completion of P release.


v  Working for Pro 3016  truck AMT vehicle
v  Working for Pro 3008 South Africa truck AMT vehicle
ü  I have responsible for complete Automated manual transmission for Pro 3016 & Pro 3008 (south Africa) truck application.
ü  I have done the upgradation in existing Pro 3016 vehicle to AMT & ensure the VM3 workshop for AMT functional check.
ü  I am responsible for AMT functional requirement.
ü  I have completed B release of Pro 3016 AMT vehicle.
ü  I have responsible for fulfilling the AMT requirement by taking supporting with WABCO team.
