control system project, to upgrade & revamping of the Control &
Instrumentation system for the process equipments and utilities systems for
natural gas liquidification process plant. The process parameters are controlled
by HONEYWELL TDC 3000 DCS System.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
v Supervised Calibration of
pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, pressure switches, level switches,
Electromagnetic flow meters, Control valves, Safety valves etc.
v Installation of above
instruments, Level gauges, Rotameters and restriction orifices. Fabrication of
impulse piping, tubing, steam tracing, purge connection and pneumatic hookups.
v Cabling including
installation, of ducts, trays and junction boxes. Also field cabling and hook up
for the field instruments, Motor Operated valves(MOVs) and the control system

Specifications, Loop Diagrams, Interconnection Diagrams, Cable Schedules,
Instrument Installation Schedules, vendor offers evaluation and recommendations
for procurement.

specific works of Turn around Maintenance works on Instrument and Control

diesel firewater pumps of caterpillar make. Supervised breakdown maintenance on
the weekly cut in/cut off test.
v F&G system (Minimax) Modification:
Proposed the required modifications to include more heat/smike/H2S/HC
Detectors/cards manual call points and alarms to the existing system.
v Fire Alarm system for control
room/substations/rack rooms (Minimax fmz 1000): Executed all break down
maintenance.
v ESD system modification: Coordinated with
Engineering and executed the modifications proposed by operations. Supervised
all necessary ESD valve replacement jobs to implement off gas ESD logic.
