Responsibilities as a Development
Lead for the Applications Team:
- Understand the scope of the
project and arrive at a prototype on what we would like to deliver as a
part of NW Administrator. This was later presented to the SAP solution Management,
NW Senior Management and Executive Board members to get their approval for
the overall project. Also it was presented at the annual administrators’
conference and the idea found great support.
- Identify what the administrator
needs (customer visits, conducting workshops at TechEds etc) to defining
the product, its scope, overall navigation, user interface and usability.
- Identify the need of a uniform
user experience and thus the need of universal Floor plans, universal
applications and universal ui elements/components. I was involved in
designing and developing them.
- Design the configuration schema
in Portal Content Directory (PCD) for the universal floor plan components.
- Planning & estimation.
- Designing the concept of Operation
Handbook using SAP Guided procedure.
- Prepare scenario
mockups/prototypes to participate in various forums such as TechEds,

I represented the team

response for the overall concept/idea of the product.

The concept is based on saving
master data objects in an active or draft state. This deals with the creation
of a rule engine and workflows to integrate it with the existing system.

of this project is to provide a simplified, state of the art, business oriented

The Profile Management project involves re-architecting, designing and
developing the member profile information for VISA International Inc.
